Docs.com is very un-Microsoft like. It’s a very simple clean interface and specific function is to share documents. Built on top of the office 2010 platform. The Menu Bar on the top with an option to connect to Facebook. The true purpose is for sharing microsoft originated documents to put on Facebook. Although this is a good idea, is it also in response to Google Wave that is in beta.
Right now slideshare.net is a similar type option, but with much more clutter on the site. The benefit to slideshare.net i s you can lock down the documents, so people can only see the flash version of the document.
